6061 pipe is the schedule form of 6061 tube. Sheet is 6061 sheet. Bar is 6061 bar.

Common schedules in this family are SCH 5, SCH 10, SCH 20, SCH 40, SCH 80, and SCH 120, from 1/8 in through 8 in nominal, with SCH 40 and SCH 80 the sizes most often named. Seamless pipe is ASTM B241. Extruded hollows are ASTM B221 and ASTM B429. Drawn seamless tube that is ordered as pipe is AMS WW-T-700/6 and ASTM B210.

Tempers: O, T4, T5, T6. Catalogue density 2.70 g/cm³. The wall-thickness strength table on the tube page applies when the pipe wall falls in those bands.
