Seamless aluminium pipe is a hollow section with no longitudinal weld, supplied when the line needs a continuous wall. Welded, ERW, and EFW pipe in the same alloys are listed beside it. The grade named on the order sets the chemistry and the strength. This page is the size and schedule index. Alloy pages carry the composition for that grade: 6061 pipe, 6063 pipe, 6082 pipe, 5083 pipe, 5086 pipe, and 7075 tube.
Renaissance Fittings & Piping Inc. supplies these pipes for structural, mechanical, and process lines. Name the alloy, temper, nominal size, and schedule with an enquiry.

Forms
Seamless, ERW, welded, fabricated, electropolished, polished, and plain hollow pipe. Sections: round, square, rectangular, hydraulic, U-shape, pancake coil, coiled, hexagon, and honed.
Alloys named for this supply include 6061, 6082, 5086, and 7075. Use the alloy page for that grade's chemistry. The ranges below are the envelope printed for aluminium pipe as a family. They are not the limits of one alloy.
Family chemistry envelope
| Element | Published range (%) |

| Aluminium | 90.0–99.5 |
| Copper | 0.0–5.0 |
| Silicon | 0.0–6.0 |
| Iron | 0.0–1.5 |
| Manganese | 0.0–1.5 |
| Magnesium | 0.0–5.0 |
| Zinc | 0.0–1.0 |
| Titanium | 0.0–0.5 |
Family mechanical band
| Property | Published band |
|---|
| Tensile strength | 200–300 MPa |
| Yield strength | 70–250 MPa |
| Elongation | 10–30% |
| Hardness | 30–100 HB |
| Modulus of elasticity | 68.9 GPa |
These bands cover more than one alloy and temper. The minimum that applies is the one in the specification and temper named on the order.
Checks named with the pipe: hardness, hydrostatic, and corrosion testing.
Where it is used
Aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, cement, oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical plant, food processing, and marine service. The light wall and the corrosion resistance are why the same pipe turns up in air lines, structural frames, and pressure piping.
Schedule wall chart
Outside diameter is in millimetres. For 1/4 in through 10 in, the source prints one thin wall, then the same middle wall three times, then the heavy wall once or twice. Those map to SCH 10S, the SCH 10 / 40S / STD group, and SCH 80S / SCH 80. SCH 40 is named in the chart header. On these sizes it is not printed as a different wall from STD.

From 12 in upward the printed row is shorter than the seven schedule columns, and the walls are no longer three identical middle figures. They are copied in the order printed. Confirm which column is SCH 40 before the pipe is cut.

Weight
Mass uses the density of the alloy on the order, not a single figure for every grade. Catalogue densities already published for the linked grades: 6061, 6063, and 6082 at 2.70 g/cm³, 5086 plate at 2.66 g/cm³, 7075 at 2.81 g/cm³.
With outside diameter and inside diameter in millimetres, and density in g/cm³:
kg/m = π/4 × (OD² − ID²) × density / 1,000,000
ID = OD − 2 × wall. Use the metal weight calculator.
